If you are in high school (TxSt students welcome!) and are interested in meeting amazing young adults like yourself, this group is for you! The FLC senior high group is one of the most tightly-knit you will find. Everyone here has that "grew up together" feeling. No judgement here. Just meaningful devotions, fun outdoor sports, service projects, and LOTS of laughter.

LET’S HONOR OUR SENIOR HIGH GRADUATES!
SUNDAY, MAY 23, 2010
First Lutheran Multi Use Room
The congregation is invited to participate in a potluck lunch to honor the
young men and women graduating from High School this year. An entrée of
Poblano Chicken will be provided. The congregation is invited to bring
vegetable or salad and dessert to share.
Meet the graduates and hear about their plans for the future. For information call the church office (392-20640).
Youth Room Remodeling
Big changes have been made to the youth room (known by some as the senior high room). Thanks to a generous donation from one of our members, our favorite room in the church has recieved a complete makeover! The room now has a new paint job along with new, comfortable couches. Oh, and don't forget the 57 inch flat screen mounted on the wall! Can you say "family movie night"?
Thanks go to the volunteers who helped paint, lift furniture, and install cabinets.
Get excited, because First Lutheran is in the process of hiring a full time youth director! Expect to see more youth activities in the near future, and to get re-connected with your friends at FLC! When was the last time we played ultimate frizbee on the front lawn?

nooma.com -- the nooma series focuses on presenting Christian themes and ideas to young adults in ways they can relate to. Each 12 minute film tackles tough life questions and a variety of ideas including sex, faith, finding your place, fear, greed, love, and death. The series (still in its infancy) will feature different speakers in the future. For now, Rob Bell is the sole narrator. (P.S. he's amazing)
