Kids of the Kingdom is a Christian daycare located right here at First Lutheran Church. The Center takes children from newborns to an after school program for school age children.

Philosophy
Kids of the Kingdom Lutheran Child Development Center enhances each child as a whole and with the love of the home environment. We value the individual child and his/her potential, interest and growth. We accept each child as being uniquely created by God. We provide a variety of activities in an enriched environment that fosters a positive self-image.

Program Goals
The goals of Kids of the Kingdom are to provide a safe, loving, happy experience for the children and their parents. By providing an enriched environment we allow each child to grow at his/her own pace intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually.

Spring is almost here and we at Kids of the Kingdom are ready for warm weather! This month the children will be learning about Lent, Spring and the many changes that it brings from the flowers to the animals. March brings us two celebrations, Dr Seuss’s birthday on March 2 and St. Patrick’s day, March 17.

Kids of the Kingdom is also going to have two fundraisers this month. One has started already and it is a “Celebrate Life” booklet filled with many gift items. Money raised from this fundraiser will go toward educational supplies. Our other fundraiser will be a Spaghetti Dinner on March 18, 5-7 p.m. Food may be eaten here or taken home. The money raised will go towards the purchase of playground equipment. Please come and support our child development center. Copies of the “Celebrate Life” catalogs are available in the Centrum on the buffet.

The staff and children at Kids of the Kingdom would like to thank everyone that has supported us in the past and will continue to provide support in the future!
